BREAKING: Ozzy Osbourne Cancels “No More Tours 2 Tour”

Moments ago, Ozzy Osboune’s official Facebook page issued a statement about the cancellation of what was to be the next round of the “No More Tours 2 Tour”

Ozzy and his wife Sharon went on Good Morning America a couple of weeks ago and revealed to the world that he had been diagnosed with Stage 2 Parkinson’s; that there were planning on seeking treatment in Switzerland for his immune system, to strength his ability to fight the disease; with the hopes of Ozzy being able to hit the road again in late spring to tour in support of his upcoming album “Ordinary Man”

And as social media does, people complain openly, about such things. Seeming to forget that Ozzy is 71 years old, that he was severely injured last year when he fell onstage and further exacerbated an injury from an ATV crash in 2003.

Well, I’m not one to stay quiet on such issues so here’s what I have to say:

I’m not sad. I am relieved!!! For 50 years Ozzy has given us EVERYTHING! This is HIS time now. His time to enjoy with lovely Sharon, his children and grandchildren. Thank you, Ozzy. For the birth of heavy metal, to 50 years you’ve dedicated to all of us. Your music running thru our brains, saying things we wish we had the words for, making us smile, laugh, cry, scream and bark at the moon. There’s never been anyone like you and there never will be again.

I am thankful for all you’ve brought us. I am grateful for all the years of Ozzfest proving to the doubters that rock n roll was not dead and will never die. All these other festivals now exist because of you. So many amazing bands that have become some of my favorites, cut their teeth on Ozzfest. I have amazing memories and made some amazing friends from those years on particular. And the fact that I got to see the OG Black Sabbath... Twice… To this day I’ve never found the words to describe that exhilaration.


Thank you for getting us one more album. I will head to the store on Friday and pick up a copy of “Ordinary Man” and crank it loud and proud.


You are anything but ordinary, Ozzy. Truth be told, we are beyond blessed that you are giving us this gift. We don’t need another tour. I know you want to and I know it breaks your heart to not be out on the road again. But our love for you, should solidify that as much as your fans mean to you, you mean to us and we want you to enjoy the rest of your years with your beautiful family. You’ve more than earned it Ozzy.


So from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Thank you for the music, thank you for the concerts, thank you for Ozzfest thank you for…. EVERYTHING.
And to Sharon, Jack, Kelly and Aimee…. Thank you for sharing your amazing father with us.
