Fire department responds to garbage truck fire at Old Glory

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Ladder 9 and Rescue 9 responded to a call on September 16 involving a garbage truck that had caught fire in the parking lot of Old Glory Distilling Co.

Upon arrival, the engine compartment and the cab were fully engulfed. The fire was quickly extinguished.

The driver of the truck was transported to Tennova by MCEMS with minor burns to his arms.
