We were all stunned when Eddie Van Halen died. Imagine what it’s like to be his only child.

In his father’s wake, Wolfgang Van Halen has been so open and generous, grieving right along with the fans and sharing amazing photos, stories and special moments he was able to share with his dad. He also turned to music in the form of his own songs, his own voice and his own project of Mammoth WVH to help him heal.

Wolfgang wrote such a heartfelt song in tribute of his father, coupled it with a video that require tissues to watch. Mammoth WVH made their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night performing the song, “Distance”
