I am so stoked for this. I mean, I have loved every Marvel movie that has come out. I love Chris Hemsworth and he makes an amazing Thor.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” is the sequel to “Thor: Ragnarok” and is the fourth film in the Thor saga.

Thor has gone into retirement, wanting to enjoy life without all the chaos and danger but plans are interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher who of course wants to eliminate all gods.

The cast in this film is epic as not only Hemsworth returns as Thor, Natalie Portman is back as Jane Foster, Russell Crowe as Zeus and the Guardians of  the Galaxy make their appearance. That means, Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista. I’m also intrigued at the edition of Christian Bale, who’s jumping from the DC to Marvel Universe as Gorr. That alone is fascinating since after the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, Bale allegedly swore off comic book/superhero films.

Marvel released the first official “teaser trailer”, so we get a small idea of what Thor is wanting to do (retire) and that it will be short lived. I’m anxiously awaiting the next trailer that gives us a more in depth look.

Other familiar faces in the film includes Matt Damon, Melissa McCarthy, Sam Neill and yet another Hemsworth, brother Luke.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” will hit theatres in July.

For the past 14 weeks and counting, the top Billboard spot has been held by a love ballad: Alex Warren's "Ordinary." As Berklee College of Music professor and forensic musicologist Joe Bennett notes, the February release is "a fair bit slower than the mean average for the Hot 100, or for a historical song of the summer."
