WATCH: South Carolina Man and His Donkey Duet

I can’t watch this video enough.

Travis Kinely of Sumpter, SC is an amazing human being. His love of animals brought him to Nathan the donkey’s rescue. A donkey with a personality so bright and bold, his previous owner couldn’t keep up with him.

So, Travis, for a mere $100 gave Nathan a second lease on life. Travis told WKYC  “You can always tell he’s a thinking animal. He’s just playful, that’s just in his nature.”

Well, Nathan’s playfulness surprised Travis in a most magical way. Travis decided to sing the opening theme from The Lion King to Nathan and his other horses and while the horses were not impressed with their human’s singing, Nathan the donkey definitely was. So much so, he joined in.

Travis said “”So, I got in the pasture, I gather all horses…. I start singing and Nathan starts to bray behind me, and I’m kind of blown away because we never do this together; we never sing together,” Kinley said. “He keeps going, so I keep going, and all of a sudden I just kind of break down laughing at the end.”

The video has since gone viral and I can totally understand why.

I love this donkey!!!
