WATCH: New “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” Trailer Just Dropped

Back in April, we got a sneak peak of the cute but not so cuddly mini Stay Puft Marshmallow men with a teaser for yet another Ghostbusters film.

This one gives me hope though, as Paul Rudd stars in what is described as picking up where the first two Ghostbusters films left off. And it’s being directed by Jason Reitman. His father, Ivan, was the mastermind behind those first two films, so I have high hopes that the proverbial apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I mean, he’s got talent; he directed “Juno” and “Thank You for Smoking“. But “Ghostbusters” is his father’s legacy. By the way, Jason also co-wrote the script with OG Ghostbuster, Dan Aykroyd. We’ll be seeing Aykroyd’s character of Dr. Raymond Stantz, along with Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman; Ernie Hudson as Dr. Winston Zeddmore; Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett and Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz. You might recognize Trevor as well: Finn Wolfhard in real life, Mike Wheeler in “Stranger Things“.

Today a new trailer dropped and it looks freaking fantastic. “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” comes out Thanksgiving.
