WATCH: Forget Christmas. This is the Best Holiday Light Show Ever

We’ve all seen them. The houses decked out with a million lights, programmed to interact with a Christmas song, like ‘Christams Eve/Sarajevo” or “Wizards in Winter” from Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We watch in awe and wondering, filling with joy thanks to someone else’s intelligence and creativity.

Well, now we don’t have to wait until Christmas to be in awe and wonder.

YouTuber Tom BetGeorge has taken light shows to the next level and for Halloween. Jumping on the popularity of the 80’s, thanks to Stranger Things, he used Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” and “Ghostbusters” from Ray Parker Jr and created something I’ve never seen before.

It’s not just a million programmed lights, Tom goes next level with programmed lighted drones. Creating the Mind Flayer, the Demogorgon and Vecna’s grandfather clock in full, animated, moving color 400 feet in the air.

The second half, we get treated to Slimer, the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and the looming purple sky that unleased the evil in Ghostbusters.

I don’t know what this guy does for a living. Perhaps he’s an engineer and that’s why he’s so smart and able to do something so incredibly elaborate. Millions of lights, likely a hundred or more drones, and I’m sure at least one room of the house is filled with nothing but servers to run it all. And you’d think the electric bill is unthinkable. But if you watch all the way thru, there’s a little behind the scenes of the set up going on on his massive property, which is equipped with solar panels.

I love when smart people use their powers for good.

By the way, Tom does have a ton of Christmas displays he’s done as well. Be sure to check out his YouTube channel.
