Rockin’ Rescue – Duchess PUPdate

Rockin’ Rescue – Duchess PUPdate

Duchess came to Mikaela’s Mutt Motel in January after being found wandering around as a stray. She had a giant mammary tumor removed shortly after. Since then she had new mast cell tumors that showed up on her body and those too, were removed. She was all set to be adopted this weekend, but more tumors showed up on her and she went thru her third surgery.

That’s the bad news part. The bad news part two, is the bills are mounting at the rescue. To date, Mikaela’s Mutt Motel has spent around $4,000 trying to get Duchess healthy. So donations to her medical fund are desperately needed.

The good news is her adopter is still all in and she will have a FURever home to live out the rest of her days once she heals up from this latest round.

As you can see from her video, this six-year-old girl with cancer is very happy and very determined to get to her new human and FURever home.

If you can, please donate. It can be a couple bucks or a couple hundred. Every little bit helps.

If adoption isn’t for you but you’d still like to help, please consider donating to the Mutts either thru PayPal or the Amazon Wishlist!
