For months we’ve been hearing about Rob Zombie’s plans to bring one of his favorite television shows to the big screen the only way Zombie could.

He went so far as to have 1313 Mockingbird Lane actually built in Prague. He kept us updated on casting via his social media. He teased us with photos and a look at the intro to the film. And he did the unthinkable: he went full color.

The biggest question that remained was would the mastermind that brought us “House of 1,000 Corpses”, “The Devil’s Rejects”, two “Halloween” movies and more, make this television classic into a Rob Zombie horror classic, or keep it full of cheesy, campy fun.

Well, according to the trailer that just dropped, it’s the latter. In fact, this is his first film to not be rated R.

Finally a full look at Rob Zombie’s “The Munsters”. The film is due out in September.
