Red Sun Rising Has a Deathwish

Red Sun Rising is back with a brand new tune from their long awaited new album due in March Photo: Z-97.5

There are many parts of my job that I love. One of those being the amazing friends I have made. And on a day like today, when I get to contact Mike Protich first hand to let him know that we have added the brand new RED SUN RISING single, “Deathwish”, it warms me to be the bearer of GOOD news and to know that they are truly gracious. I cherish this friendship!

I love this song. In my convo with Mike I reflected on one of a couple interviews we’ve done and him telling me that there is no formula to how they write a song. To me, this song is a testament to that. There is a great hook, but the rest of the song goes wherever the hell it wanted too. Time and texture changes to keep you on your toes and keep the song very fresh, not repetitive or boring. Originality is hard to come by these days. To me, Red Sun Rising, nailed it with this one.
Now, if you haven’t heard “Deathwish”, WATCH IT NOW. And keep an eye out for the new album, “Thread” due out March 30th.
