We thought it might be fun to highlight some of the new songs we are spinning here on Z975.

Little Rock, AK was never the first place thought of when it came to good rock music. Especially fronted by a woman. Evanescence formed in 1995 and hit the airwaves with their debut album, Fallen, in 2003. After a couple of records, the band took a hiatus, Amy Lee worked on some solo material and became a mom. Now the band is back with a powerful new album, The Bitter Truth, just like previous songs, women everywhere can count on Amy to be their voice, including the new track, “Better Without You”.

Evanescence will be heading out with Halestorm for a winter tour.

Zero 9:36, formally known just as Zero, is a rapper, singer and musician coming from the City of Brotherly Love. The man has a rapid fire delivery in his lyrics as a rapper and in 2019, added the 9:36 to his name and elements of electronica, industrial and rock to his sound. His first single, “Adrenaline” showcases all of those elements.  His new EP “…If You Don’t Save Yourself” is available now.

Zero 9:36 will be at Louder Than Life for the first night of the festival, Thursday September 23rd.

Love them or hate them, Five Finger Death Punch knows how to write so that an album can drop multiple tracks from each release. The band released album number eight, “F8” (said as Fate), on February 20th of 2020 and have four charting songs from it. Over the years, frontman Ivan Moody has embraced his own demons in hopes of helping others and letting them know they are not alone. Such is the case with “Darkness Settles In”.

Five Finger Death Punch are at work on their ninth studio album which should be released early next year.
