Time to get you caught up on some of the new stuff we’re spinning on Z975.

Just in case you need a reminder, women can rock, women can shred too. This is not just a boy’s playground anymore. And while you are familiar with names like Lzzy Hale, Amy Lee and Maria Brink, you might not be well versed when it comes to Nita Strauss.

This Los Angeles native is no slouch with a guitar slung around her neck, being a part of the all female Iron Maiden tribute band, The Iron Maidens; Femme Fatale and she’s been part of the musical performances with the WWE. Most notably, in 2014, Strauss stepped onto a stage with the shock rock God, Alice Cooper and has been with him pretty much ever since.

She also has her own solo career a new track with my friend and brother, David Draiman of Disturbed. I’m going to let this song speak for itself, because it is fire.

Check out Nita and David and “Dead Inside”
