New Music – Halestorm

Back in February, Halestorm dropped their second single from their forthcoming album. Now we get a visual for the tune, “The Steeple”

The band’s fifth album was started before Covid hit, with the bulk of the creation to come during lockdown. Like most of us, frontwoman Lzzy Hale struggled with the mental challenges that were exacerbated by the pandemic. Music is just as cathartic to the artists that create it as is it is to those of us who not just listen to it, but embrace it with our souls.

This album is the story of how I carved myself out of that darkness. It is a journey of navigating my mental health, debauchery, survival, redemption, rediscovery of my power, and somehow still having faith in humanity. I’m so grateful for this amazing community that gathers under the power of music. I know that so many of you will see yourselves in these songs, and be reminded that none of us are alone. So, Burn every fear, every doubt like a funeral fire. Scream every anthem and follow your reckless desires. Take back the crown that hangs at the gate, ready your march…steady your aim, for the heart is a soldier that never loses its way. Raise Your Horns.”
-Lzzy Hale
Back From the Dead will be available on May 6th and is available for preorder.
Halestorm is currently on tour in the UK thru mid- March and will start their US run with Stone Temple Pilots, Black Stone Cherry and Mammoth WVH. The closest date is May 24th in Evansville, IN. Get tickets here
