British band Asking Alexandria are back with their seventh studio album, See What’s On the Inside.

As with previous releases, the band continue to tweak their sound, moving from electronicore, to screamo, to metalcore and now finding a themselves headed in the direction of a more straightforward melodic hard rock sound.

On the band’s Facebook page, they had this to say about their new album:

Back in May, the five of us locked ourselves away from the world together to reignite and rediscover our love and passion for rock and metal music and we could not be more proud of the album we created. We invite you now to #SEEWHATSONTHEINSIDE

This is also their first release on a new record label, Better Noise Records, which puts them in the company of Bad Wolves, The Hu, Nothing More, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch and plenty more.

The second single, “Never Gonna Learn” nicely displays this new direction they’ve chosen with a monster hook. It’s catchy AF. This is definitely a tune you’ll find yourself fist pumping, jumping and singing along with in the pit. Which by the way, the first US dates will be in early May.
