Live Nation Offers Up $20 Concert Tickets

2020 sucked. So many things taken away from us and our social lives but the one that hurt the most, for me anyway, was no concerts. Now the world is opening back up and a sense of “normalcy” has returned. With it, the live show. The big concerts and festivals are starting to rise from the ashes after more than a year of silence. And while it’s an amazing thing to see all these shows starting to pop up and you say “Oh! I want to go to that show! And that show, and that one too”, your bank account might disagree with your renewed enthusiasm. I mean, concert tickets aren’t cheap.

Enter Live Nation. Now, usually, Live Nation is there with Ticketmaster and tickets to shows that are just stupid expensive. Not just the price of the ticket itself, but the service fees that get attached to those tickets that make us all complain. I hate the fees, but those fees do help to pay employees, so that’s something to try and remember as your blood pressure tries to rise on you.

Live Nation is bringing on a special promotion from July 28th thru August 1st where you can purchase concert tickets for just $20. That includes the fees and taxes! Just a flat $20.  “Return to Live” will feature about 1,000 shows at Live Nation venues all around the country. And the bands that are participating, aren’t exactly small time.  311, 3 Doors Down, Rise Against, Megadeth + Lamb of God, Judas Priest, Kiss, Korn and even Slipknot are among those that you can see. For just $20!

Tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday at 11am CDT at LiveNation.com. However if you are a T-Mobile/Sprint customer, you can have early access thru the T-Mobile Tuesday’s app.

This year’s song of the summer is a ballad, not a banger. Here’s what that says about us

For the past 14 weeks and counting, the top Billboard spot has been held by a love ballad: Alex Warren's "Ordinary." As Berklee College of Music professor and forensic musicologist Joe Bennett notes, the February release is "a fair bit slower than the mean average for the Hot 100, or for a historical song of the summer."
