LISTEN: Meet the Men (and dog) Behind Two Amazing Local Charities

Photo: z975

Meet Michael “Mikey” Myers of the Quigg & Calllender Project and Dustin Maxfield of Sheepdog Initiative. They stopped by the show today to discuss not only each of their non-profit charities, but a big event called Quigg & Callender Project Battle Ride: A motorcycle run (open to all vehicles)and benefit party happening 10/26/19, to raise funds to purchase service dogs to help veterans that are struggling with PTSD and TBI.

The beautiful pupper you see is Mikey’s blue nose staffy named Louie. She is one of two service dogs that keep him on track. As you can see from the photo, she’s a lover.

So check out the podcast, and the photo gallery below to get a sneak peek at some of the auction items. More are coming including an authentic NHL jersey from the Vegas Golden Knights, Appleton Harley Davidson and more.

We’d love to see you Saturday October 26th at the American Legion Post 233 in Oak Grove. Whether you ride or not, come join the fun of food, live music and a silent auction. You can go home with some cool stuff, perhaps some new friends and a warmness in your soul knowing you helped such an amazing cause. And of course, plenty of love from Louie Dog.
