Prior to coming to Clarksville six years ago, I worked in Des Moines, IA at KAZR, Lazer 103.3. Lazer happens to be our sister station, as being part of Saga Communications, so even though I left Des Moines, I stayed with the Saga family.

I spent 10 years at a great station with some great people. People like Andy Hall. Andy, like myself, wanted to do radio since being a single digit aged child. He has a passion that rivals mine for sure!

Andy’s passion, talent, knowledge and above all else, “fandom” gave him a hella awesome opportunity. He was called upon by Metallica’s management to host radio world premiere of Metallica S&M 2.

I decided to reach out to Andy to talk about his opportunity and get a first hand account of the new release and getting to hang out and chat with Metallica again.
