The long awaited “Friends: The Reunion” is debuting on May 27th on HBO Max. The cast sat down for a virtual interview for “People” magazine yesterday and it’s got people talking. Talking about Matthew Perry, who played Chandler on the show.

During the nearly eight-minute interview, Perry is not only slurring but slightly slumped in his chair.

Perry struggled with alcohol addiction while the show was still in it’s prime. In fact, in an interview with the BBC, he said he didn’t remember three years of the show (between seasons three and six). There was also a jet ski accident that left him addicted to pain pills. Years of abuse, led to a perforated intestine which he had surgery for in 2018, spent three months in the hospital and according to an interview with his step father, he was still struggling as late as last October.

I won’t speculate on to why Perry looks or sounds the way he does in this interview. It could be any number of things, but he does not look well.
