We here in Clarksville were incredibly lucky during the heavy thunderstorms earlier this week.  Our neighbors to the south in Nashville were not as lucky.  The storm that woke us with heavy winds and loud storms brought Tornadoes to the Music City.  Buildings and homes were destroyed, and lives were lost.

Lots of us our wondering what we can do to help our neighbors and there are some things you can do right now to help. From our friends at Channel 2, here are some things you can do to help.

The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties have set up a relief fund and donations may be made by one of the following methods:

• Text RELIEF2020 to 41444
• You can make a donation online
• By check to P.O. Box 330056, Murfreesboro, TN 37133 (please write RELIEF2020 on memo line)

There are other ways that you can help as well.  Check out this comprehensive relief resource from Channel 2.
