Highly Suspect’s Frontman Jams New Song from Home

We are all looking forward to life getting back to normal. We know that Gov. Bill Lee is lifting the stay at home order next week and some businesses will begin to reopen. But what about other states? And what about concerts? Last week I posted a blog about how it could be 2021 before we see the return of live shows. It’s frustrating for us, it’s frustrating for those artists too.

Many have taken to the internet and their social media accounts with impromptu performances lately probably for their own sanity as much as ours. Johnny Stevens, aka “Terrible Johnny” of Highly Suspect included. The band just released a new single from their album “MCID” called “These Days”.

Like most songs from Highly Suspect, they cut deep and are personal. There’s something about Johnny’s voice that is down right haunting in a very beautiful way. Strip everything away and just have Johnny and his guitar in his apartment… goosebumps.

Check out the performance here. WARNING: He does drop one of my favorite words a few times, so mind your volume!

And just for fun, the official video
