Forget Vegas, Try This for Your Bachelorette Party

Going to Las Vegas for your bachelorette (or bachelor) party is so cliché. And do you really want to go to Nashville and become a “WOOO! Girl”?

Try this on for size.

Mexico’s new president is trying to cut expenses by selling off a luxury jet purchased by the previous administration.

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador cant’ seem to get anyone to purchase the aircraft however, after three and a half years, so he’s decided the next best thing is to rent it out. For weddings, parties and more.

$280 million is what this Boeing 787 Dreamliner is worth, no word on what it costs to rent it though. The President says:

“The rental fees will pay for its expenses and maintenance. It will be open to the public if anyone wants it, because they’re getting married … and they want to bring their friends and family … or coming of age parties, birthdays.”

Lopez Obrador says it’s too difficult to sell it because it was custom made, complete with a presidential suite and a private bath with marble in it and only carries around 80 people.

Here’s a peak inside from when it first went on the market in 2018

He says he is just fine taking commercial flights. The typical Boeing 787 Dreamliner, by the way, carries an average of 330 passengers and in itself, is pretty swank. Check it out here.
