Back in mid February, my ears were delighted and a smile was plastered to my face when I found out Foo Fighters did a special cover of the Bee Gees classic, “You Should Be Dancing”

A couple days ago, another amazing cover surfaced from Foo Fighters. While this one is not a Bee Gees tune, it does belong to another Gibb; the youngest “Bee Gee” brother, Andy. My sister was obsessed with Andy Gibb back in the day…which would be the 70s. Andy died just five days after his 30th birthday from myocarditis due to years of cocaine abuse.

Foo Fighters were part of an incredible line-up for a two day streaming concert called Rock ‘N’ Relief that helped raise awareness and funds for CORE; an organization that has been providing free Covid testing and vaccines in LA.

The special part about this Andy Gibb cover is it’s not Dave Grohl taking the lead. If it were, this would be reason #949 to love Dave. This time around, drummer Taylor Hawkins takes the lead on “Shadow Dancing”
