I never thought a show so cheesy could make me so excited.

I remember watching the first season of Cobra Kai and while it was an amazing trip down memory lane as I am an OG Karate Kid fan, the amount of cheese was, well, gooey.  But in the best way possible.

Cobra Kai picks up 30 years later, in the adult hood of Johnny Lawrence, who could never let go of the past, right down to his car; and Daniel Larusso who rode the wave of his karate success to a massive car dealership. Of course, bad blood rarely dries up.

I burned thru the first two seasons once they became available on Netflix. I jonesed and then burned thru season three and have been chomping at the bit for word on season four.

The official trailer is here and I couldn’t be more excited. This season poses a partnership between Johnny and Daniel to combat their now common and mortal enemy, John Kreese and the Cobra Kai. This season will also see a familiar Cobra Kai face return to the fold.

Cobra Kai Season IV debuts on December 31st on Netflix
