Enough With the Teasers, “Thor: Love and Thunder” Official Trailer Is Here

Back in April, Marvel and specifically, Thor fans who were excited for a news and a trailer to drop for “Thor: Love and Thunder” got teased. As in a teaser trailer for the new film.

It wasn’t enough. It’s never enough! So today we get to rejoice with the “official” look. Ok, so it dropped during the NBA playoff game last night but, eww basketball.

Speaking of “eww”, the long-awaited first look at Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. Have we seen him as a villain since “American Psycho”? (I still can’t watch that movie.) Already, I’m pretty certain Gorr will be less creepy than Patrick Bateman.

Anyway, aside from the first look at Gorr, we also get to see Natalie Portman (Jane) bring the female God of Thunder to life, or, Mighty Thor. She’s come such a long way since little Matilda in “Leon: The Professional”. (Still one of my favorite movies)

Thor’s hammer was allegedly destroyed in “Thor: Ragnarok” yet aside from a big crack, the hammer is in tact and in Jane’s possession. So, yes, Jane Foster is worthy.

Oh and a naked Thor… err… Odinson ,appears in this trailer too. Swoon. I mean, let’s not forget, last we saw him he was Fat Thor, after all.

“Thor: Love and Thunder” hits theatres on July 8th.
