Christmas has arrived at Dollywood and for the 14th year is being named “America’s Best Christmas” by Amusement Today’s Golden Ticket Awards.
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas is underway thru January 1st. With holiday shows, millions of lights at Holiday Nights, Glacier Ridge and a new feature, the Dollywood Express Light Experience, which is a train ride thru the park with dazzling lights and Christmas music. There’s even the Merry & Bright Holiday Light Fireworks.
There might not be snow on the ground, but that’s the beautiful thing about Tennessee; even with warmer weather, Christmas still gets celebrated in a very big way. And let’s be honest, after getting a sneak peek from The Smoky Mountain Family on YouTube, this looks way better than traveling over the river and thru the woods to Grandmother’s House.
