If you know anything about Quincy, Massachusetts Celtic Punk Band, Dropkick Murphys, you know they take St. Patrick’s Day celebrations just as serious as the entire country of Ireland. So much so that every St. Patrick’s Day for the last 24 years, since the band’s formation, they have played a show ON St. Patrick’s Day.
But, in the rapidly changing current Covid-19 world we are living in, Dropkick, like almost al bands are finding themselves having to cancel shows and tours in the wake of a pandemic that has the CDC telling us all we need to stay home and gather in groups of less than ten people.
However, Dropkick has decided the show must go on and will be “Streaming Up From Boston” online tonight all over the world for free! Here’s their official statement from their website:
Hey everyone!
We hope you and your families are doing well during this trying time…

We’re going to bring a DKM LIVESTREAM CONCERT to EVERYONE – ALL OVER THE WORLD!!
