WATCH: Madisonville, KY Band Jams with Foreigner

Reverend Jack from Madisonville, KY have had a pretty stellar start to the year. They got signed to a record deal with the Resurgence America label; a label that was started by my friend and long time guitar tech, Cris Leperauge. Cris was on tour with Foreigner and had a night off in Louisville and decided to check out the local scene. He happened into The Bourbon Hall where Reverend Jack was on stage. Cris was so impressed with them, he decided he would do whatever it takes to launch their career to the next level. So, Cris formed Resurgence America.

The band went to New York to record their EP, “Not Playing Games” and were honored with special guests that contributed their world renowned talents on each track: Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake and Trans Siberian Orchestra:  Reb Beach of Winger and Whitesnake; and Bruce Watson of Foreigner.

The blessings didn’t stop there. Reverend Jack found themselves in Indianapolis on May 23rd, just in time for the pre-Indy 500 festivities and played a show at a local venue called The Rathskellar. There, they were joined on stage by Watson and Foreigner bandmates, Michael Bluestein & Chris Frazier. And of course, they played a Foreigner tune.
