Work week weather: Warmer weather this week ahead of Thanksgiving

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Sunny skies and dry weather are ahead this week, along with a bit of a warmup.

The highs will rise from 50 to about 60 at the end of the week, with lows rising from the teens back up to the mid-30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Along with that warmup, there’s a slight chance that rain will be served on Thanksgiving.

Here’s the day-by-day outlook.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 51. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph in the morning.

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 60. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. South wind around 5 mph.

Thanksgiving Day: A 30 percent chance of showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 60. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.
