UPDATE: 2 critically injured in wreck on Tiny Town Road in Clarksville

Update, 9:22 a.m.: Clarksville Police said a motorist driving a blue Subaru was traveling westbound on Tiny Town Road when the driver of a white Chevy Tahoe, traveling eastbound, crossed over into his lane, causing a head-on collision.

Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles by Clarksville Fire Rescue and sustained serious injuries, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien. They were both flown to Nashville and their status has not been released.

“This is still an active investigation and charges are pending,” Beaubien said.

Update, 6:45 a.m. Tuesday: The head-on collision happened at about 8:21 p.m., according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media.

Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles. Both were flown from the scene to with critical injuries, one by LifeFlight, one by AirEvac. One had bleeding from the head.

Update, 10:10 p.m.: AirEvac was called to take one person to Nashville, according to reports from the scene.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A serious crash has Tiny Town Road closed near Profit Drive.

At 8:55 p.m., the Clarksville Police Department had the road closed and was asking the public to find alternate routes until further notice.

No further information has been released.
