CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Westbound traffic heading toward Clarksville is backed up for several miles on Interstate 24.

At 11:55 a.m., traffic was backed up from Exit 8 past Exit 11 to about mile marker 26. There was heavy spillover traffic westbound on US Highway 41A and on Highway 12.

It appears to be related to the eclipse, which is likely most visible from the Clarksville area this afternoon.
