CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Raising Cane’s has submitted site plans to bring the national fast-food chain to Clarksville, according to a proposal submitted to the Regional Planning Commission.

Site plans show that Raising Cane’s, which specializes in chicken fingers, has proposed to build and open a new location at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Terminal Road.

The development is plus or minus 1.72 acres of land, which is just under 75,000 square feet. Developers have proposed the inclusion of a crosswalk, patio area and bicycle parking. The development also has plans for a landscape area.

The build is anticipated to be 35 feet tall with a floor area of around 2,900 square feet. The proposed Raising Cane’s location will have a total of 41 parking spots with two of them being ADA accessible. In addition, the site would have two drive thru lanes.

About Raising Cane’s

Under the leadership of founder and CEO Todd Graves, Raising Cane’s opened their first location on Aug. 28, 1996, on the campus of Louisiana State University. Graves named the business after his Labrador Retriever, Raising Cane.

Twenty-eight years later and the fast-food chain has more than 780 restaurants, which includes the 10 new locations in the month of February, according to a recent Raising Cane’s press release.
