CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One person was injured after a pickup truck collided with a flatbed truck carrying a forklift in Clarksville early Wednesday morning.

Witnesses say the pickup crossed the center line on Madison St. in front of Barksdale Elementary and hit the flatbed truck, causing the pickup to become airborne., according to WKRN News 2.

The driver of the pickup was taken to Gateway Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department.

The driver of the flatbed truck carrying the forklift was not injured and the forklift was found in the roadway.
