Update, 9:05 a.m.: The driver of the motorcycle, Joseph Dunn, 47, died as a result of his injuries, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle was treated and released.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcycle and a car crashed Thursday night on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

At about 11:20 p.m., the vehicles crashed on Wilma near Dunbar Cave Road, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Detective Michael Patterson.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital, and their conditions were unknown Thursday night.

The sedan ended up in the parking lot of a nearby business, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media. Shattered pieces of the vehicles were spread out all over the highway.
