Mission BBQ to continue their daily National Anthem tradition

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Since Sept. 11, 2011- the day they opened-Mission BBQ takes two minutes out of every day to play the National Anthem.

Despite COVID-19 closing dining rooms in their 93 locations, they will continue their tradition.

“… Mission BBQ will continue to take 2 minutes out of our day to honor and salute our flag and our country,” said Laura Dotterer, brand manager for Mission BBQ. ” We will be live streaming the National Anthem on our Facebook page everyday at noon until this crisis has past….because we are free and because we can.”

The daily patriotic tradition will be streamed live at 12 p.m., EDT and 11 a.m., CDT on their Facebook page, >@missionbbqtheamericanway page:

“We believe there is nothing more American than BBQ. And nobody more American than the brave men and women who have sworn to protect and serve Our Communities and Our Country,” according to their mission. “We do what we do for the love of our soldiers, firefighters, police officers, and first responders—all our loved ones in service.”
