UPDATE: Missing 4-year-old boy found safe in woods behind home off Tylertown Road

Update, 7 p.m.: The child has been found in the woods behind his home, according to neighbors involved in the search. Clarksville Police have confirmed that he has been found and is safe.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Several neighbors, Clarksville Police and other public safety agencies are searching the Gardendale Drive area off of Tylertown Road for a missing 4-year-old boy.

The child is a white male with blond hair, believed to be wearing a green shirt and blue shorts, according to police Lt. Charles Gill. He was last seen at 3:50 p.m., and anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.

Neighbors involved in the search told Clarksville Now the child is autistic. His name has not been released by CPD.
