Here’s who’s on ballot for Clarksville City Council, state legislature races in 2024

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The final list is in for candidates running for City of Clarksville elections, coming up in November.

On the ballot this election cycle are half of the City Council wards and city judge. Four of the eligible incumbent City Council members decided not to run again. The deadline to qualify was noon today. The remaining council seats and city mayor will be on the ballot in 2026.

Here is the list of city candidates, with links to their campaign announcements:

Ward 3, to replace DaJuan Little (not running).

Ward 4, to replace Wallace Redd (not running).

  • Timothy Lee Chandler, will be unopposed

Ward 5

Ward 8, to replace Wanda Allen (not running).

Ward 9, to replace Karen Reynolds (running for state Senate).

Ward 12

Also on the Nov. 5 ballot will be state House and state Senate races, Congressional races and the presidential election.

The voter registration deadline is Oct. 7. For more on voter registration, go to the Montgomery County Election Commission website. Early voting will be Oct. 16-31, with Election Day voting Nov. 5.
