CLARKSVILLE, TN – State Farm is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Tennessee to support disaster recovery efforts and help the individuals and families impacted by tornadoes this month.
“These funds allow Habitat to provide immediate help to our neighbors in the disaster area to purchase supplies, furniture, or other necessities from our Clarksville ReStore,” said Habitat Executive Director Rob Selkow. “Working together with partner agencies of United Way of Greater Clarksville Region will help us deliver this aid quickly to people with the greatest need.”
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Tennessee serves Clarksville, which sustained severe damage Dec. 9, when multiple tornadoes moved through the state. State Farm is providing a $75,000 grant to the organization to assist with recovery.
“Our hearts go out to those impacted by the recent tornadoes,” said State Farm Sales Leader Ray Hightower, on behalf of Clarksville-area agents. “State Farm is committed to helping people recover from the unexpected. Our support for Habitat For Humanity of Montgomery County, Tennessee will assist with recovery efforts.”
