Do you need help? Where to find shelter, supplies, food and more after tornado in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – If you lost your home or have other needs resulting from the tornado that hit Clarksville on Saturday afternoon, there are several businesses, nonprofits and agencies offering assistance. Others who are offering help can email information to news@clarksvillenow.com.

Shelters

Northeast High School, 3701 Trenton Road. American Red Cross managed.

Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, 2650 Trenton Road.

Manna Cafe warming center at the Refuge Building, 503 D Street.

Housing

Millan Enterprises has numerous homes in Clarksville that are immediately available for occupancy for those displaced by the tornado. Millan is offering the first month of rent free, plus application fee and security deposit assistance, short-term lease options, covering the cost of utilities for the initial week, and offering one month of free storage. Food

Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, will host Mercy Chefs, a Virginia nonprofit that serves hot, chef-prepared meals in times of disaster. The team will serve meals to victims, first responders and volunteers.

Manna Cafe will be offering a hot meal every evening until further notice. Meals will at 5:30 p.m. at the Manna refuge center, 503 D Street.

Northeast High School: Tacos El Chingon and Three Rifles Distilling Co. will be feeding anyone who needs it during lunch on Monday at Northeast.

Copper Ridge Townhouse Complex is offering free food and supplies at 1605 Needmore Road #504.

For emergency responders

Caprigios Pizza will be giving free pizza and drinks to all first responders on Monday from Caprigios at 620 Dunlop Lane, Suite 119, and across from Tennova from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

West Coast Taco Shop, 2485 Fort Campbell Blvd., will be giving free burritos to police officers, firefighters, EMS and electricians from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Monday.

Supplies

Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, has been collecting donations and has resources available for those who may be in need.

Acme Athletics, 2231 Madison St., has a free distribution room set up with all the donations received for tornado relief. The available items are located next to Miss Lucille’s. There are items such as diapers, formula, clothing, coats, food, cases of water, baby toys, pack and plays, shoes and much more. Pick up times are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Property cleanup

Mosaic Church is offering help with tornado damage property cleanup. To request assistance, fill out the form at the Mosaic Church disaster relief website.

Internet access

T-Mobile’s Community Support team will be visiting the following locations on Monday to offer free Wi-Fi and critical supplies including blankets, device charging, portable battery packs and charging cables.

  • Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, 9, a.m.-1 p.m.
  • T-Mobile Store, 2644 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., 2-6 p.m.
