CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – After weeks of speculation, a general contractor based out of Mentor, Ohio, has announced they’ve have been hired by Governors Square Mall to build a new Dave & Buster’s location in Clarksville.

JJO Construction announced the news that they’ve been hired to serve as the bidding general contractor, and they shared plans for the site with Clarksville Now. JJO Construction specializes in new construction and remodeling in the commercial retail market.

Dave & Buster’s is expected to be placed right next to Burlington Coat Factory and Home Goods. The tenant space is made up of 34,566 square feet.

Marisa Russell, who works for JJO Construction, said all bids are due back to JJO Construction no later than noon on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The first Dave & Buster’s location opened up in Dallas, Texas, in 1982 after the two founders combined their business models, according to the franchise’s official website.

To date, there are over 140 locations with state-of-the-art games, drinks and “mouthwatering” menu items. Their menu includes wings, burgers, pretzel sticks, chicken potstickers, double pepperoni flatbread and more.

In addition, Dave & Buster’s also has an allergen-free menu and numerous TVs broadcasting football, basketball and UFC fights.
