David Lee WHO?

A bachelor party was partying in their Vegas hotel room and as expected, the music was a bit…loud. Van Halen was one of the bands they were listening to.

The original lead singer from Van Halen, David Lee Roth, happened to be staying on the same floor. Wouldn’t they be surprised if the one and only David Lee Roth knocked on their door to say hello?

It would be a story that would become legend in their families. That is…if the dudes recognized him. Granted, David is looking a bit different these days, but the name alone and that grin would be recognizable to any true Halen fan.

Watch the video as David knocks on the door and it seems these nice young gents were more concerned that a hallway neighbor was complaining about the loud music.  It was a bit awkward but they totally played it cool. They felt so bad that one of the dudes even followed Mr. Roth to the elevators to apologize again for the ruckus.

One of David’s entourage is overheard saying “They got a big kick out of that!” David then says “That’s so funny right? Isn’t that something?”

David was with Van Halen off and on since their start in the 1970’s and was on seven of their albums including some of their most successful like Van Halen I and II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning, Diver Down and 1984.

He also had quite a big solo career in the 80’s and was a regular in the early days of MTV. His first solo album Eat Em and Smile reached number 4 on the charts.

It was rumored back in 2001 that the band was working on a new album together but nothing came of it. Instead the record label released remastered versions of their first seven albums.
