Toronto, Ontario based Metal band called Witchrot (taken from their Facebook description). Well, it’s an ex-band now since they broke the news via social media and automatically alarmed a bunch of online media outlets who are hungry for such scandals. Even though the band is not exactly famous, the wonders of the internet helped them get more attention and even go viral. They shared this via social media:
“Due to the unfortunate reality of our guitarist fucking my girlfriend of almost 7 years WITCHROT will be taking an extended hiatus.
“I however will continue the band in another space and time, being ripe with hate the music is slowly flowing and without a doubt will become the most devastating, torturous music I have ever created. Thanks for the support, stay heavy – Peter
