Sir Paul McCartney shut down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles on Monday night for a televised street gig.

The former Beatle performed a 15-song set as part of an appearance on late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

McCartney played two songs from the roof of the El Capitan Theater before heading down to street level to complete the show for an estimated 10,000 fans.

As part of his set, the singer/songwriter performed a handful of classics and three songs from his forthcoming album New, which will be released next month.
