Woodstock organizer Michael Lang is planning to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the event with another installment of the legendary music festival.

Lang served as a co-creator of the Woodstock Music & Arts Festival in 1969, and also promoted two official follow-up events in 1994 and 1999, as well as a 40th anniversary edition in 2009, and now he is planning another big gig for 2019.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he says, “I think we’re certainly done until the 50th. We’re starting to think about it now.”

Lang reveals he and fellow organizers are already exploring various locations for the event, which was initially held in Bethel, New York, and hosted the likes of The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
