But soon the life of Archie himself will be gone.

The famous comic book character will meet his end in the July edition of the series.

The new set of comics tells the story of the grown-up version of Archie and his pals from the fictional town of Riverdale: Jughead, Betty, Veronica and Reggie.

Archie ends up dying trying to save the life of a friend.
