ELKTON, Ky. — Kentucky State Police troopers are investigating the death of a man who fell from Pilot Rock near Elkton.

Troopers say 22-year-old Alexander C. Longoria of Hopkinsville and a friend climbed to the top of the rock Monday afternoon. Police say Longoria fell and suffered fatal injuries as a result.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County Coroner.
